Halliday’s Harvest Barn Inn

I’ve recently fallen in love with photographing bed & breakfasts, hotels, and farms.. so I’ve decided to start up a little portfolio!  To further push this new found love, I’ll be spending a fair amount of time traveling around the New England area in search for some of my favorites!

Here are a few images from a recent trip to the B&B known as Halliday’s Harvest Barn Inn!  A huge thanks goes out to photographer Jenn Bakos for allowing me the opportunity to photograph this wonderful venue.. as well as for standing in a few shots for me!

Everything was shot on my Mamiya RZ67 Pro II with Kodak Portra 400 film!

After spending the day photographing at Halliday’s, we decided to explore the beautiful forests of Vermont!  Jenn was a trooper, standing in the pouring rain as a made a few frames!  The rain clouds gave us some amazing, soft light to work with.. and for that I am thankful.

Abbie Kressner - Lovely!

Will Austin - Great to meet you and Joe in Seattle. Your work is beautiful, I especially love these! You have the rare ability to notice the small things in daily life that say so much about the people and place, wherever you find yourself. And now I want to get out a film camera….
