Arielle & Andrew

Even with the extremely busy travel schedule we had this summer, there was time left on the calendar to schedule some weddings!  Arielle and Andrew decided to get married on one of the most beautiful pieces of property I’ve ever been on.  Their wedding took place at an oceanside home in Long Island.. complete with a spectacular view, and the most perfect ocean breeze.

Once again, Joe asked me to bring my film camera’s along to capture the wedding day of these two!  Between the fun wedding party, and a vast array of beautiful backdrops, I couldn’t stop taking pictures!  I’ve decided to ramp up the amount of photos in this post compared to what I usually show, especially since this was one of the most fun weddings I’ve been a part of!

I’m a budding photographer and I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind telling me what kind of lens you shot most of these with? 85mm? Also with the medium format esque square cropping, are you shooting with a Hasselblad or something? Your work is really beautiful.

Cali - Hey Mary!

Thank you so much for the kind words! Everything you see is shot on my Rolleiflex 2.8F! I think I have a few 6×7 shots on there, and they are taken with my Mamiya RZ67 Pro II :) As far as the lens goes, everything is comparable to a 50 on 35mm
